Designer & David Carson's Mentor

Did you know that the legendary designer David Carson had a mentor named Hans Rudolf Lutz?

Lutz was a Swiss designer with an interest in experimental typography and even extended this to the publishing of his books. For instance, Lutz did not give his book “Typoundso” an ISBN number. In an interview with Eye Magazine, he explained that he did this because he would “enjoy the idea that [his] books will disappear some day, because they are not catalogued.”
